Recreation and activities abound in Traill County. See the map for attractions throughout the county.
Baseball parks have been updated in Hillsboro and Hatton in the last two years.  A new Wellness Center in Mayville and Fitness Center in Hillsboro provide those communities with state of the art equipment for exercise and health.  A hockey arena is the pride of Mayville.  But wherever you go in Traill County, the parks are used winter and summer with swimming pools, playground equipment, picnic sites, skating rinks and even horseshoe pits!  Enjoy what Traill County has to offer year-round!

Hillsboro

Hillsboro Days – third weekend in June
Featuring a parade, tractor and draft horse pull, and kickball tournament to name a few.

Old-fashioned Ice Cream Social – Independence Day
Ice cream social on the lawn of the Traill County museum on Caledonia Avenue in Hillsboro.

Homecoming - Fall
There’s a big homecoming parade, pep rally, and football game each year to support the Hillsboro Burros.

Mayville

Mayville Summerfest - June
A parade, tractor pull, and museum tours are just a few of the attractions.

Farmers Bowl - Fall
A Mayville State University tribute to our farming heritage, it involves a parade featuring tractors, community picnic and football game.

Hatton

Hatton 4^th of July Celebration – Independence Day
There’s a demolition derby and parade among other events in the city.
