Melissa Beach
Executive Director

Melissa Beach oversees the operations of the Traill County Economic Development Commission. Starting with TCEDC in February 2009, Melissa has quickly become involved with a number of organizations devoted to economic development in the Valley region. She’s currently affiliated with MayPort EDC, Hillsboro EDC, Hatton EDC, Halstad (MN) EDA, and Economic Development of North Dakota. Melissa is a graduate of North Dakota State University and Norman County West (Halstad, MN) High School. Melissa has a varied background in marketing, communications, newspaper design and layout, advertising sales, accounting, teaching, and coaching.

Melissa is also active in Rural Leadership North Dakota, Hillsboro Kiwanis, Norman County West Booster Club, Hillsboro Business Association, and Sanford Consumer Council (Mayville). A native of rural Shelly, Minnesota, Melissa lives in rural Hillsboro, ND, with her husband, Josh, and son, Easton.
