These efforts are made possible through working closely with local and regional developers across North Dakota. The North Dakota Department of Commerce incorporates four divisions, including Economic Development and Finance, Tourism, Community Services, and Workforce Development.

The Center for Technology and Business partners with individuals, businesses, communities, local, county, and state agencies, jobs development authorities, and nonprofit organizations to provide simplified technology curriculum, training, and services that improve lives in communities across every square inch of North Dakota.
The North Dakota Housing Finance Agency is a public financial institution dedicated to making housing affordable for all North Dakotans. This agency facilitates affordable mortgage financing, assures the continued availability of low-income rental housing, and seeks to provide for the state’s changing housing needs.
Rural Leadership North Dakota (RLND) is a statewide leadership development program that includes seminars with experts; on-site tours/presentations; meetings with agriculture, business, and government leaders; international experiences; and personal skills development. The RLND Program is designed for men and women who are dedicated to strengthening the agriculture community, their community, and the state of North Dakota for the future.
