Director, Galesburg Representative

Rick Halvorson is a farmer and rural mail carrier for the areas of Clifford and Galesburg, ND. He serves as the mayor of Galesburg and is in his first term on the Traill County Economic Development Commission.

Having lived in Galesburg since he was a boy, Rick has a great understanding of Traill County and its residents and businesses. He is a graduate of Clifford-Galesburg High School and has a degree in Social Studies from Valley City State University.

Rick and his wife, Mary, have been married for more than 35 years. They have three children – Justin, Ashley, and Jenna.
