TCEDC Seeking Project Coordinator

Traill County Economic Development Commission is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator to join the organization. The Project Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Executive Director to develop and implement projects, oversee the office and complete other tasks. Duties may include: bookkeeping and preparing financial reports, website maintenance, coordinating events and client meetings, responding to inquiries, interacting with clients and board members, general clerical duties, creating documents such as invoices, agendas meeting minutes and completing project-based work.

Compensation: Pay dependent on experience. Position includes paid health, dental and vision for employee, along with retirement, paid time off and excellent flexibility.

Minimum qualifications: Computer literacy including proficient in Microsoft Office.

Preferred qualifications: Bachelors degree in business, finance, marketing, communications or a similar field of study. Three years experience in bookkeeping, computer proficient including Microsoft Office and Adobe design programs, website management, ability to work well alone or as part of a team.

TCEDC Completes Hillsboro Child Care Analysis
Traill County EDC recently worked with area partners to research the demand and issues in the City of Hillsboro with their child care. The full report is available here.

Traill EDC Awards Child Care Grants
TCEDC has awarded $26,000 to local child care providers who were able to increase capacity.

Traill County Housing Analysis Completed
A firm was recently hired to complete a thorough housing analysis of Traill County. The project was funded with funds from North Dakota Housing Finance Agency, Traill County EDC, Hatton EDC, Hillsboro EDC and MayPort EDC. To view or download a copy of the full report, please click here.

TCEDC awarded two business recruitment grants
TCEDC applied for a business recruitment marketing grant on behalf of the Hillsboro EDC. The project was awarded $20,000 from ND Department of Commerce. TCEDC also applied for a similar grant on behalf of MayPort EDC and was awarded $18,000 for a new Mayville-Portland website.
